Saturday's Small Talk Six

6:53 AM Posted by Louise

Today is Saturday and time for Small Talk Six sponsored by Momdot. Today's topic is "6 things you do, used to do, or would like to do to relax".

For once this topic was fairly easy for me as I'm pretty lazy in general so I do always take time for myself to relax.

1- I have a bubble bath each night and read a good book.

2- I journal about my daughter's life. (Writing is relaxing adding pictures is another story)

3- I used to go on long drives in my car but unfortunately don't find that very relaxing anymore since I had a car accident.

4- I walk on the treadmill and daydream.

5- I put my headphones on and do basically nothing while listening to mellow music on my IPOD.

6- And now one I'd like to do. I would like to take a craft class or drawing class. I had my first session last week and really enjoyed it so hopefully I can continue to fit it in and it continues to be relaxing. I know me I can get too achievement oriented and it turns a fun hobby into a job.

I would give anything to be able to relax in a tub of bubbles every night...too many interruptions...great list.

I took a drawing class last summer and hated it- thanks to the teacher who took it way too seriously. I heard they cancelled her class this year.

    Have a great Saturday!

I'm with you on the driving thing. I used to love it too, until we got in an accident. Now I only drive when I have to.
